Joyrambati is the small but world famous village in Bankura District of West Bengal, India. It is 44 KM distant from Bishnupur, 54 KM distant from Barddhaman and 103 KM distant from Kolkata. The place is 4 KM to the east of Sihar and 8 KM to the west of Kamarpukur, the holy birthplace of Shri Shri Thakur Sarada Devi who is worshipped as the Holy Mother by the followers of Sri Ramakrishna. Shri Shri Thakur have no formal schooling but she had a pronounced aspiration to spread education amongst the grassroots especially for the girls and boys of lower depth. To materialize Thakur's dream Swami Shibarupa Nanda Maharaj established Joyrambati Ramkrishna Sarada Math and Mission with the support of 10th President of Ramakrishna Belur Math Swami Bireswara Nanda Maharaj (Called as God Father of the Math). The Math and Mission was established on July 1972 in a special day that is Ratha Yatra. After 10 years of journey on 1982 the math and mission has established a trust with the name "Joyrambati Ramkrishna Sarada Mission Trust". Joyrambati Ramkrishna Sarada Math and Mission is situated at the heart of the Joyrambati and it is a well-known education sector in Joyrambati as because their educational activities for the whole nations.
